Playfood — update releases December 2022

This release is very important for our Playfood team as we have completed our research on UI/UX and food delivery from the customers' experience.

We found a lot of insights and have already implemented them in our app, and we have also added another payment system.

1. Special additions for the type of couriers

We have added additional configurations of types of couriers: pedestrian, bicycle, car, VAN. We also added additional attributes that a courier must have to fulfill an order: big size, fragile, need fridge.

Now you can configure the delivery platform so that the system automatically finds the right courier.

2. Customers see Taxes in the cart

In some countries, platforms are bound by the legal requirement to show Taxes and VATs that the customers pay on the order. We added to the backoffice functionality: delivery tax and product tax.

Now, when a customer orders, they will see the amount of Taxes in the cart.

3. Added Integration with Stripe

Stripe payment system is the perfect credit card processor to send payouts, and manage their businesses online.

Available for businesses in 47 countries. Accept payments from anywhere in the world: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States.

4. Added localized products and UI for 2 main languages in your marketplace

Suppose there are many tourists in your country and they do not know the native language of your country. Our development team has added UI language localization. You can easily set it up for both restaurant employees and customers.

5. Improved order tracking for the customer

We have improved the UI/UX of order tracking for customers: takeaway and courier delivery.
